Position Overview

South Central Behavioral Services (SCBS) currently has an opening for a part-time RN Care Coordinator in our CCBHC program, for approximately 12-20 hours per week.  An RN Care Coordinator will serve as the nurse care coordinator for people in our programs by providing professional psychiatric nursing services and care coordination to individuals with complex conditions (physical and behavioral health needs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the care and treatment of these individuals in accordance with accepted nursing and medical standards as well as work closely with program staff to attend to the whole health needs of our clients. You would participate in treatment team meetings to discuss and address the ongoing needs of the clients and are also responsible for completing daily documentation in our electronic health record.  The starting hourly range is contingent on experience and education, with additional bonuses based on productivity and performance. A hiring bonus is available after 6 months of successful employment.  Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska is required; one year of experience in medical/surgical nursing with an additional year of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred. Direct Care Staff – Residential – Hastings

Position Overview:
South Central Behavioral Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Care Staff to join our team in providing support to adults in a homelike setting in Hastings, NE. The role involves assisting residents with daily routines and medication administration. No “hands-on care” is required. Staff will also be responsible for record-keeping, including daily progress notes and using an Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR).

Qualifications:
• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate one of the following:
o Two years of lived experience in a related field
o Two years of direct care experience in human services
o Two years of training in a human services field
o A bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, sociology, or a related field (preferred)
Compensation and Benefits:
• Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour with an active Medication Aide Certification.
• Quarterly Bonuses: Based on productivity and performance.

This role is essential for helping individuals with mental illness achieve independent living and assisting those with substance use disorders in reaching their recovery goals. Community Support Workers engage with clients in their homes and the community, guiding them to develop and meet their personalized treatment objectives while facilitating access to valuable community resources.

Salary and Benefits
The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $40,000-$44,000, with bonuses based on productivity and performance. Starting wages are contingent on education and experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in human services is preferred, though candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.

Position Overview

South Central Behavioral Services (SCBS) is seeking a full-time Mental Health Worker for the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team with office location in Hastings, NE. Our ACT program provides holistic care to adults managing mental health or co-occurring disorders as part of a mobile, interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. The team provides services in the communities of Hastings, Grand Island, Kearney and surrounding areas with travel provided in a company vehicle. Staff work as part of a multidisciplinary, self-direct work team. Most work is done during regular office hours, with occasional on-call coverage and a flexible schedule shared among a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $38,000-$45,000 based on experience, and includes bonuses based on productivity and performance. Outpatient

Outpatient Therapist – Hastings, NE.

Position Overview

South Central Behavioral Services is seeking a full-time Outpatient Therapist for our Hastings office. We provide comprehensive Mental Health, Substance Use, and co-occurring services for adults, youth, and adolescents. In this role, you will conduct mental health and substance use assessments, provide individual and family therapy, and facilitate group therapy sessions. As a vital member of our treatment team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including probation, drug court, DHHS, and other agencies involved in client care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 with additional bonuses based on productivity and performance. We also offer a $5,000 hiring bonus after six months of employment. Our Student Loan Repayment program is available to support your financial goals. Required licensure includes PLMHP, LMHP, or LIMHP, and additional substance use certification is preferred, given our focus on co-occurring services. We provide internal clinical supervision for licensure.
